NOC Engineer (ERP)

What you will do

• Monitor and respond to alerts using PRTG to ensure SLA compliance and system uptime.
• Perform L1/L2 incident triage and troubleshooting for Windows Server and Linux/Ubuntu environments.
• Operate and troubleshoot virtualization workloads in Hyper-V and cloud infrastructure in AWS.
• Manage incident, service request, and problem workflows within Jira Service Management.
• Execute and contribute to the update of SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
• Perform routine operational tasks including patch coordination, health checks, and backup verification.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in NOC, IT Operations, or Systems Support.
• Strong administration and troubleshooting skills in Windows Server and Linux/Ubuntu.
• Working knowledge of AWS fundamentals and operational troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Hyper-V administration and VM troubleshooting.
• Experience with PRTG (sensor tuning, dashboards) and Jira Service Management.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN concepts.

Nice to have

• Scripting and automation skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Awareness of ITIL frameworks (Incident, Problem, and Change management).
• Exposure to ELK, Splunk, or Ansible.
• Certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner/SAA, Microsoft, Linux (LPIC/RHCSA), or ITIL Foundation.
