IT Field Engineer - Peninsula

Salary: $85,000 - 95,000 base

What you will do

• Promote Parachute’s culture and core values to ensure client satisfaction.
• Perform regular onsite services including status meetings, server/network health checks, log reviews, backup tests, and proactive measures to reduce tickets.
• Provide onsite reactive IT support and implement Parachute Standard Practices.
• Develop business/technical relationships with clients and perform project work as directed.
• Meet with Parachute Technical Account Managers and senior engineers to assess risks and identify opportunities.
• Maintain detailed IT documentation, network assessments, and knowledge of client applications.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in network/IT systems and troubleshooting.
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft technologies: Windows Server, Exchange, Office 365.
• Knowledge of networking: firewalls, routers, VPN, VLAN, DNS, DHCP.
• Knowledge of desktop technologies: Windows, MS Office, email, virus/malware, phone configuration.
• Knowledge of virtualization: VMware, Citrix, HyperV.
• Associate's Degree in IT or related field required; Bachelor's preferred; IT certifications preferred (Microsoft MCP/MCSA/MCSE, Citrix, SonicWall, Cisco CCNA, VMware VCP).
