Location: Onsite in Buffalo/East Aurora, NY

Salary: $95,000–$130,000 Annually

What you will do

  • Lead the development and deployment of material planning strategies to optimize inventory management.
  • Implement tools, processes, and standard work to drive continuous improvement in planning functions.
  • Manage and coach a team of direct reporting Planners.
  • Develop tactical plans to achieve site strategic objectives and oversee planning processes for all value streams.
  • Facilitate resolution of delivery-impacting issues and coordinate with fabrication and supply chain teams.
  • Perform capacity analysis to identify bottlenecks and provide staffing/equipment recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Technical or Business discipline.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in planning or operations.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience coaching high-performing teams.
  • Proven track record in lean manufacturing and process improvement.
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • CPIM or APICS certification.
