TL;DR

Inventory Manager (Supply Chain): Managing global inventory strategy for the Water segment with an accent on inventory optimization and cost reduction. Focus on driving the transition from MRP to DDMRP and overseeing $500 million in global inventory.

Location: Hybrid (Deerfield, IL). Required in-office presence Tuesday-Thursday.

Salary: $90,000 – $125,000 USD

What you will do

  • Oversee $500 million of global inventory, ensuring seamless flow from production to distribution.
  • Meet inventory and WCE targets and partner with finance to drive the accuracy of the monthly forecasting cycle.
  • Create KPIs and inventory governance policies for the business.
  • Lead safety/buffer stock strategy and implement processes for Obsolete and Slow-Moving Inventory (OSMI).
  • Drive the strategic transition from Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) to Demand-Driven MRP (DDMRP).
  • Build and lead a high-performing team, starting with the management of Buffer Managers.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain operations, inventory management, and supply/demand planning.
  • Must be based in or able to work from Deerfield, IL to support the hybrid schedule.
  • Experience with SAP is required.
  • Detailed knowledge of MRP/DDMRP systems and processes.
  • Strong project management background and demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical capability and the ability to use data to influence action.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Orchestr8 (O8) Demand Driven Planning System.
  • Lean Six Sigma or APICS Certification.
