TL;DR

Commercial Area Fleet Sales Manager (Virginia, Automotive): Direct sales of Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram Trucks and Vans to dealers, commercial fleets and small businesses with an accent on developing new accounts, maximizing revenue from existing customers, and supporting dealers. Focus on sales strategies, overcoming objections, inventory management, local events, and quarterly forecasting.

Location: Remote, must reside or be willing to relocate to the Virginia area, US. Willing and able to travel up to 60-80% of the time.

What you will do

  • Develop sales strategies to conquest new commercial accounts and build volume with existing customers.
  • Overcome customer objections, provide solutions, and support cost control and order-to-delivery processes.
  • Collaborate with dealers on advertising, marketing, inventory, and training their commercial teams.
  • Manage Volume Incentive Program proposals, local events, monthly forecasts, and commercial audits.
  • Build relationships with fleet managers, up-fitters, second-stage manufacturers, and support local events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of experience in business-to-business sales
  • Must reside or be willing to relocate to the Virginia area
  • Experience in automotive or fleet environment
  • Selling mindset, positive relationship building, self-motivated, goal achievement under minimal supervision
  • Willing and able to travel up to 60-80% of the time

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of dealership commercial sales processes
  • OEM field sales experience in commercial market
  • MBA
  • Automotive fleet management background
  • Commercial vehicle product knowledge
  • Experience with Bailment Pool or commercial up-fitters
  • Strong negotiating skills
