What you will do

• Develop and advance the strategy to expand the company's patent portfolio.
• Evaluate patent landscapes to identify innovations aligned with the product roadmap.
• Partner with engineers and software developers to identify and protect patentable inventions.
• Draft and prosecute provisional and non-provisional patent applications.
• Manage outside patent counsel and support trademark registration initiatives.
• Collaborate with legal and business leaders to address IP-related issues.

Requirements

• Licensed attorney with admission to practice before the USPTO.
• Proven experience drafting and prosecuting patents in software, AI, and ML.
• Strong academic background in technology, engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to describe complex technological inventions in precise, accessible language.
• Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills.
