Location: Hybrid; Must be based in the US and able to work from the Woburn, MA office at least one day per week

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 annual base salary

What you will do

• Draft, negotiate, and interpret license agreements and contracts in coordination with internal stakeholders.
• Oversee approval procedures to ensure compliance with contract processing policies.
• Provide legal advice on complex concepts and distill factual research for internal and external stakeholders.
• Advise sales teams on strategic negotiations to maximize IP value and minimize risk.
• Lead legal and administrative efforts to resolve IP infringement, including cease and desist letters and takedown procedures.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admitted to the Massachusetts bar or eligible for in-house registration.
• 1-3 years of experience in a law firm or in-house, preferably within a software company.
• Knowledge of US and international contract, licensing, and IP law (focus on copyright and trademark).
• Spanish fluency required.
