What you will do

• Draft, review, negotiate, and close complex commercial agreements with customers, suppliers, and strategic partners.
• Partner with sales, business development, and operations to design strategies for high-growth go-to-market initiatives.
• Monitor evolving legal and regulatory developments in data protection, technology, and AI, applying to contract drafting and risk assessment.
• Develop and localize contract templates, playbooks, and policies for regional requirements.
• Provide pragmatic legal advice to cross-functional teams to enable growth and manage risk.
• Contribute to scaling the Legal Team’s commercial function and team culture.

Requirements

• JD with active membership in at least one U.S. state bar (New York preferred).
• 6-12 years of relevant legal experience (in-house at technology or SaaS companies strongly preferred).
• Proven track record drafting and negotiating complex commercial and technology agreements.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise software licensing, SaaS, data protection, and intellectual property.
• Experience advising on privacy, cybersecurity, and cross-border data transfer issues.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
