What you will do

• Design, implement, and ship a provenance ingestion service supporting SLSA, in-toto, SBOM, and Sigstore bundles.
• Own the storage architecture for signed provenance metadata.
• Build a validation engine to verify cryptographic integrity and evaluate attestation data against customer trust policies.
• Deliver clean, versioned, and well-documented APIs for provenance data.
• Collaborate with product and customer success teams to translate enterprise security needs into features.
• Mentor the engineering team through code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of production backend engineering experience with ownership of complex services.
• Strong proficiency in Python and AWS services (S3, RDS/Postgres, Kinesis, ECS, Lambda).
• Experience with infrastructure tooling such as Terraform.
• Domain knowledge of provenance and attestation (SLSA, in-toto, Sigstore) and SBOM formats (CycloneDX, SPDX).
• Experience building multi-tenant SaaS platforms with a focus on data isolation and access control.
• Must be based in Ireland or the UK and have the right to work without sponsorship.
