TL;DR
Technical Account Manager (Managed IT Services): Partner with engineers to establish overall IT strategy and 2-year technology plans for clients including budgets, develop innovative IT initiatives and project plans with sales aspect. Focus on presenting to C-level executives, analyzing security audits to minimize risks, managing 25-30 client accounts, and ensuring high satisfaction through regular reviews and issue resolution.
Location: San Francisco Bay Area, CA. Able to travel up to 50% of the time.

What you will do
- Establish IT strategy and 2-year plans with budgets, present to C-level executives.
- Develop project plans with scopes, hardware/software options, gain client approval.
- Analyze network assessments and security audits, develop risk mitigation solutions, present in Technical Business Reviews.
- Manage 25-30 client accounts, foster relationships, ensure satisfaction via meetings and surveys.
- Handle escalations, monitor project progress, communicate delays and resolutions.
- Identify emerging technologies, communicate industry-specific needs to team, work with COO on processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field required; advanced degree, MBA, IT/project management certifications preferred.
- Previous Technical Account Manager experience at Managed IT Service Provider required.
- 8–10+ years in business/technology, including consultative IT services, C-level presentations, sales, project planning/management.
- Strong oral/written communication, strategic planning, problem-solving, business ethics.
- Able to travel up to 50%.
