TL;DR

Business Development Manager (Financial Services): Driving new logo growth across financial services accounts with an accent on strategic hunting and outbound prospecting. Focus on building a target account book, converting opportunities into long-term relationships, and scaling the NAMER region.

Location: Remote (Must reside in CA, CO, CT, FL, ID, IL, LA, MA, MD, NC, NJ, NY, PA, RI, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI, or Washington, DC)

Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 plus commissions and equity

What you will do

  • Build and manage a focused book of target accounts, prioritizing prospects based on market opportunity and fit.
  • Generate qualified meetings via proactive outbound activity including email, phone, LinkedIn, and events.
  • Partner with SDR and Marketing teams to improve target account penetration and meeting conversion.
  • Lead discovery conversations and deliver persuasive storytelling that connects data insights to client outcomes.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract execution and early account growth.
  • Maintain high-quality CRM data in Salesforce and provide frontline feedback to sharpen GTM messaging.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of successful new business sales experience with a consistent track record of exceeding quotas.
  • 3+ years selling alternative data, data analytics, or research into buy-side financial services (hedge funds, asset managers, etc.).
  • Proven ability to build and execute against a target account book with strong planning discipline.
  • Strong command of the full sales cycle and proficiency in Salesforce.
  • Must be based in one of the following US states: CA, CO, CT, FL, ID, IL, LA, MA, MD, NC, NJ, NY, PA, RI, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI, or Washington, DC.
