What you will do

• Lead technical architecture and system design for core products and services within the domain.
• Guide a multidisciplinary squad of frontend, backend, and data engineers through implementation and delivery.
• Collaborate with product managers and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Ensure development aligns with business objectives, system health, and engineering standards.
• Lead design reviews, code reviews, and performance optimization efforts.
• Oversee system reliability, monitoring, and incident response.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Warsaw, Poland
• 2+ years of leadership experience guiding engineering teams and making architectural decisions.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on scalable architecture.
• Proficiency in modern system architecture for large-scale and high-performance systems.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• English: Fluent (C1) required
• B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kotlin or Java and the Spring Framework.
• Experience with Frontend and Mobile technologies.
• Knowledge of AWS or similar cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in MySQL and MongoDB.
• Experience with Kafka, SQS, or RabbitMQ.
• Familiarity with AI development tools like Cursor and Claude Code.
