What you will do

• Support month-end close for UK and US entities, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Manage ARR reconciliation and revenue recognition in compliance with UK GAAP and ASC 606.
• Prepare statutory reporting, annual accounts, and coordinate responses to audit requests.
• Oversee tax and business compliance, including corporation tax and VAT/sales tax filings across both entities.
• Own the Accounts Payable (AP) function, vendor bill entry, and treasury tasks.
• Partner with Global and UK controllers to implement process improvements and scaling initiatives.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of accounting experience, ideally within SaaS or subscription-based businesses.
• Strong technical grounding in UK and US GAAP.
• Hands-on experience with revenue recognition, commissions, payroll, and statutory reporting.
• Experience managing or mentoring at least one direct report.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, RevOps, and senior leadership.
