What you will do

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.
• Own revenue accounting for SaaS models, ensuring strict adherence to ASC 606 guidelines.
• Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals through regular coaching and performance management.
• Enhance accounting workflows and implement automation to support company scalability.
• Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors and maintain compliance with GAAP.
• Partner with FP&A, Sales, and Product teams to provide accounting guidance on new pricing and monetization models.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred.
• 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 2+ years of direct people management experience.
• Strong understanding of SaaS revenue recognition (ASC 606) and subscription billing.
• Experience with modern accounting systems, specifically NetSuite.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience at a high-growth SaaS or technology company.
• Familiarity with key SaaS metrics such as ARR, churn, and net retention.
• Experience scaling or rebuilding accounting processes during rapid growth.
• Experience with automation or workflow tools.
