Global Controller (SaaS)

TL;DR

Global Controller (SaaS): Oversee worldwide accounting operations and financial reporting with an accent on US GAAP/IFRS compliance, multi-entity consolidations, and global tax strategy. Focus on leading month-end/year-end closes, implementing financial automation, and supporting fundraising efforts.

Location: Remote in Singapore (Must have valid work authorization to work in Singapore). Must have some availability during North American business hours.

What you will do

• Oversee global accounting operations including GL, AP/AR, payroll, and revenue recognition across entities
• Lead month-end/year-end closes, consolidations, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
• Develop internal controls, manage tax compliance, and coordinate with auditors/regulators
• Implement financial systems/automation and partner with FP&A on performance insights
• Support fundraising, due diligence, investor reporting, and mentor accounting team
• Collaborate with finance leaders across North America, EMEA, and APAC

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance + CPA/CA/ACCA or equivalent
• 7+ years progressive accounting experience with global leadership roles
• Strong US GAAP/IFRS knowledge, including ASC 606/IFRS 15 revenue recognition
• Experience with multi-entity consolidations and intercompany transactions
• Proficiency in accounting/ERP systems (QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite)
• SaaS/digital advertising/tech industry experience preferred; Series A/B scaling
• Analytical skills, communication across time zones/cultures, fast-paced environment
