TL;DR

Risk Officer (Insurance): Coordinating and executing Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) activities across global business units with an accent on regulatory compliance and risk reporting. Focus on delivering the Group Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) report and providing second-line challenge to business stakeholders.

Location: Hybrid London (minimum 2 days in the office per week)

What you will do

  • Support the Group Risk Function in managing the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) and Risk and Control Register (RCR).
  • Lead the production of the Group Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) report across the Group.
  • Prepare high-profile reporting and documentation for Board and Executive level Risk Committees.
  • Analyze risk events and leverage external datasets to inform internal risk analysis.
  • Provide credible second-line challenge through stakeholder meetings and specific risk reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory developments and manage submissions to various group regulators.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) within the insurance or financial services sector.
  • Solid understanding of risk techniques and deep knowledge of risk types applicable to retail/commercial (re)insurance.
  • Experience meeting corporate and regulatory risk management requirements and reporting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for influencing risk owners and collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Qualification or progress towards a qualification in risk management, insurance, finance, or accounting.
  • Must be based in London to support the hybrid work model (minimum 2 days per week in office).
