What you will do
- Produce quarterly Solvency Capital Requirement (SCR) calculations under the Solvency II Standard Formula for EIID.
- Deliver SCR and balance sheet projections for the annual ORSA process, including base plan and multiple stress scenarios.
- Support the Lloyd’s syndicate capital team in running the ReMetrica internal capital model and investigating model movements.
- Develop tools and MI to support capital insights and decision-making using data and automation.
- Collaborate with Finance, Risk, and Actuarial teams to reconcile inputs and strengthen process controls.
- Ensure governance and compliance for all deliverables, including model change controls and audit trails.
Requirements
- Qualified actuary (IFoA or equivalent) with relevant post-qualification experience in capital or solvency.
- Experience in capital modelling or Solvency II (Standard Formula or internal model) within insurance or reinsurance.
- Degree in a numerate discipline such as Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Physics, or Economics.
- Must be based in London.
- Strong technical skills in Excel, SQL, and/or Python with an interest in automation.
- Ability to produce high-quality written outputs and present complex concepts to stakeholders.
