What you will do

• Own the underwriting strategy and financial performance of the D&O/FI portfolio, focusing on growth, profitability, and retention.
• Monitor portfolio metrics such as loss ratio and aggregate exposure to adjust strategy as needed.
• Underwrite complex, high-severity D&O and FI risks for large and sophisticated organizations.
• Lead high-level negotiations with brokers regarding program structure and terms.
• Provide coaching, leadership, and development to underwriting staff and direct reports.
• Partner with Claims, Operations, Legal, and Marketing to ensure service excellence and alignment.

Requirements

• 10-15 years of professional liability underwriting experience with deep expertise in D&O and FI.
• Proven track record of leading complex portfolios and managing senior broker relationships.
• Demonstrated people leadership and talent development skills.
• Strong knowledge of policy forms, endorsements, and professional liability coverage structures.
• Solid understanding of financial statements and financial risk analysis.
• Bachelor's degree is required.
