Location: Hybrid (Bristol, UK) — must spend at least two days per week (40% of time) at the office

What you will do
- Manage operational risks, control self-assessments, and partner on the annual Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) cycle.
- Perform SOX risk assessments, identify key risks, and define necessary controls.
- Manage control deficiencies, including remediation planning and validation of corrective actions.
- Engage with internal and external auditors through walkthroughs and evidence coordination.
- Produce high-quality documentation and analysis to support the development of the control environment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal customers as a Business Partner.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in the annual SOX lifecycle.
- Proficiency in Financial Controls Management (FCM) systems.
- 2+ years of experience with a strong understanding of financial accounting principles.
- Proven experience in stakeholder management and building consensus to improve delivery.
- Ability to uncover insights and identify gaps from ambiguous data with high attention to detail.

- Proactive approach to experimenting with new technologies and practices to increase efficiency.
- Strong data analytics skills, including sourcing and validating data for recommendations.
- Ability to challenge norms and use storytelling to present findings.
