What you will do

• Perform preventative maintenance, including oil changes, fluid checks, and safety inspections for heavy-duty vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair electric vehicle systems, specifically electrical components, suspensions, and braking systems (ABS/air brakes).
• Conduct mobile and field service by traveling to various sites for essential diagnostics and repairs.
• Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and inventory logs using fleet management software.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in repairing heavy-duty vehicles, preferably electric vehicles.
• High school diploma or GED; completion of an accredited vocational or diesel technology program is highly preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required; Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) must be obtained within a probationary period.
• Physical ability to lift 75–100 lbs, work in awkward positions, and operate in all-weather conditions.
• Must be based in Chicago, IL.
