What you will do

• Diagnose and remedy customers’ electric service problems.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting calls with safe procedures and independent judgment.
• Use hand tools, climb, and operate equipment and vehicles under varying and adverse conditions.
• Work often alone and recognize hazards while following appropriate procedures.
• Direct routine and complex work within the job scope and coordinate associated materials and equipment.
• Provide regular customer contact and coordinate with other departments.

Requirements

• 6 years’ experience as an Electric Line Technician (or equivalent) and ability to perform the job tasks.
• Valid CDL and ability to maintain it.
• Ability to perform moderate to heavy physical exertion, including work under hazardous conditions.
• Ability to work rotating 2nd shift days, including weekends.
• Ability to provide proof of training hours and certifications.
• Work authorization verification via E-Verify (I-9 process).
