What you will do

• Prepare structural design deliverables including steel framing, foundation, and concrete framing.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and designers to complete construction documents.
• Develop structural analysis models using ENERCALC, RISA, or similar software.
• Coordinate design work with internal disciplines and external stakeholders including clients and vendors.
• Perform loading analysis and conduct site visits to gather project data.
• Review shop drawings and contractor submittals for compliance with project specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Decatur, AL.
• Engineer In Training (EIT) certification is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Strong communication and organizational skills for managing multiple projects and deadlines.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of structural codes including IBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI, and AWS.
