Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage a team of engineers, drafters, and technicians for utility-scale solar projects.
• Produce and review comprehensive design packages, including site plans, foundation designs, and calculation packages.
• Develop structural loading for solar trackers and support systems using ASCE 7, IBC, and CBC standards.
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, and coordination for projects of varying scales.
• Mentor and coach team members to support their professional development and career aspirations.
• Support business development through proposal preparation and client communication.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a similar field from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years of relevant engineering or field experience.
• FE license is required; PE license is preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SAP2000, L-pile, Mathcad, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Nice to have

• Strong understanding of ASCE 7 loading and IBC, ACI, AISC standards for solar plant design.
• Proficiency in STAAD or Revit.
