Salary: $100,000 - $165,000 per year

What you will do

• Act as the owner's representative on-site, managing construction, commissioning, startup, and validation.
• Provide project management, coordination, oversight, monitoring, scheduling, and reporting.
• Perform field engineering to implement designs, plans, and change orders with contractors.
• Collaborate with client teams, engineering teams, and third-party suppliers to ensure project success.
• Ensure quality control in the interest of the client's projects.
• Travel and relocate to client sites for extended assignments, often requiring flexible hours (day/night/weekends).

Requirements

• 10 years of experience in electrical power, instrumentation, or controls, including 5 years of field experience.
• Ability to travel up to 100% within North America and relocate for extended assignments.
• Ability to work flexible hours (50-80+ hours per week during assignments).
• Experience in industrial manufacturing, energy, or data centers.
• Strong relationship-building and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• OSHA 30 and NFPA 70E certifications.
• Experience with government agency inspections related to energy.
• Knowledge of controls, programming, and instrumentation.
• Experience writing test procedures for validation or commissioning.
