What you will do

• Supervise day-to-day AP activities, including invoice processing, approvals, and payment runs.
• Lead, coach, and develop AP staff, managing workload distribution and performance.
• Maintain strong internal controls to prevent errors and fraud, supporting internal and external audits.
• Manage vendor relationships and resolve invoice discrepancies or payment disputes.
• Identify opportunities for AP efficiency, accuracy, and automation.
• Prepare and analyze AP metrics, KPIs, and aging reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of accounts payable experience.
• 1–2 years of supervisory or lead experience.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday) and advanced Excel.
• Knowledge of U.S. W-9 and 1099 reporting.
• Must be based in or able to work hybridly from Evansville, IN.
