Electrical Engineer

Salary: $115,000–$160,000 per year

What you will do

• Plan and conduct electrical engineering assignments requiring independent judgment.
• Design commercial electrical systems and ensure compliance with California state and NEC codes.
• Develop approaches to complex engineering problems and adapt standard procedures.
• Provide technical support to engineers, designers, estimators, and project managers.
• Collaborate with project management and field installation teams to streamline construction.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff while maintaining QA/QC processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Valid Professional Engineer (PE) license in California required.
• At least five years of professional experience at an electrical design firm or design-build electrical contractor.
• Proficiency in commercial electrical systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD MEP, Revit, and analytical software such as ETAP or SKM.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across organizational teams.
