Electrical Designer (Data Center)

What you will do

• Independently design and model power and lighting systems for commercial, industrial, and data center facilities.
• Perform engineering calculations using software tools and prepare reports, drawings, and design documentation.
• Coordinate design work and project scope requirements with lead engineers, project managers, and external design teams.
• Mentor junior designers and coordinate CAD/VDC production teams.
• Pursue professional development toward obtaining a Professional Engineer certification.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 4–6 years of professional experience at an electrical design firm or design-build electrical contractor.
• Proficiency in fundamental power and lighting systems.
• Experience with AutoCAD MEP, Revit, and file management workflows.
• Familiarity with ETAP, SKM, Microsoft Office, and applicable state and national electrical codes.
• Engineer in Training certification is required or must be actively pursued.
