What you will do

• Evaluate loan applications for risks, investor requirements, accuracy, and completeness.
• Calculate qualifying income through the analysis of tax returns and financial statements.
• Review borrower profiles, credit reports, and complex business financials.
• Manage individual loan pipelines to ensure underwriting tasks are completed within established turn times.
• Collaborate with loan originators, processors, and branch managers regarding loan decisions and guidelines.
• Utilize third-party services for valuation, fraud, and compliance inputs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Non-Agency and Jumbo products.
• Proven experience reviewing residential appraisals.
• Working knowledge of compliance, disclosure, and ATR/QM requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States

Nice to have

• DE, SAR, or LAPP certifications.
• Experience with Encompass LOS.
