Mechanical Engineer

Location: Hybrid within the Brookhaven, Mississippi office, USA; construction-site visits and travel are required.

What you will do

• Develop complete mechanical systems designs for assigned projects.
• Supervise projects and manage schedules, quality, communication, and client expectations.
• Coordinate manpower projections and work scheduling with market segment and team leaders.
• Collaborate with and mentor mechanical engineering staff to deliver projects on time.
• Review mechanical technical work for accuracy and determine project requirements with clients and owners.
• Visit construction sites to monitor progress and fulfill contract-document requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 4 years of design or engineering consulting experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with state-of-the-art mechanical design and applicable state and local regulations.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement within the Brookhaven office and travel to construction sites.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• Detailed understanding of Revit.
