Mechanical Engineer

Location: Hybrid within the Brookhaven office, Mississippi, USA; construction-site visits and travel required

What you will do

• Design complete mechanical systems for assigned building projects.
• Supervise projects to meet schedule, quality, communication, and client commitments.
• Work with clients and owners to define project needs, schedules, and expectations.
• Coordinate manpower projections and work scheduling with market segment and team leaders.
• Review mechanical technical work for accuracy and support staff training and mentoring.
• Visit construction sites to monitor progress in accordance with contract documents and support business development activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 4+ years of design or engineering consulting experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with state-of-the-art mechanical design and applicable state and local regulations.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with an experienced team.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• Detailed understanding of Revit.
