What you will do

• Design domestic water, sanitary sewer, storm water, medical gas, and natural gas systems.
• Perform fire protection system selection, hydraulic calculations, and piping/head layouts.
• Produce construction documents and BIM models using Revit.
• Write and edit technical specifications, reports, narratives, and surveys.
• Conduct site visits, survey existing buildings, and review equipment submittals.
• Coordinate plumbing systems within multi-discipline team environments and with external stakeholders.

Requirements

• 8 to 10 years of experience in plumbing and fire protection design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent science/technology degree.
• Professional Engineer (PE), EIT, and/or CPD license preferred.
• Proficiency in designing and coordinating within Revit.
• Detailed knowledge of building codes and industry standards.
• Must be based in or able to work in Newton, MA (Hybrid).
