What you will do

• Design and prepare acoustics reports, sound isolation calculations, and room acoustics specifications.
• Perform field measurements and on-site construction observations for built environments.
• Serve as Project Manager or Lead Acoustics Consultant on a variety of high-quality projects.
• Conduct drawing reviews and prepare technical schedules and specifications.
• Mentor other acoustics team members and collaborate with engineers and architects.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in acoustics design and measurements for the built environment.
• Expertise in environmental and architectural acoustics, particularly with mechanical and power generation equipment.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other STEM fields.
• Proficiency in computer modelling using SoundPlan.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
