TL;DR

Director, Commercial Sales (SaaS): Leading and scaling the Commercial sales team across EMEA to convert developer momentum into contracted revenue with an accent on mid-market growth and pipeline efficiency. Focus on hiring Commercial AEs, driving high-velocity sales motions, and establishing repeatable playbooks for scaling tech companies.

Location: Based in London (Hybrid with anchor days on Mon, Tue, Fri) or fully remote if located beyond commuting distance.

Salary: €300,000 - €330,000 OTE

What you will do

  • Own the EMEA Commercial sales number, managing pipeline, forecasting, and revenue attainment for mid-market and growth segments.
  • Hire, onboard, and develop a team of Commercial Account Executives, fostering a culture of high activity and execution.
  • Drive a high-velocity sales motion characterized by shorter cycles and strong outbound discipline.
  • Coach AEs on territory planning, prospecting, and selling to technical and business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and SDR leadership to build and convert inbound and outbound pipelines across EMEA.
  • Iterate on commercial messaging and positioning tailored for engineering leaders and CTOs.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales leadership experience in a SaaS or technical software environment.
  • Strong track record of managing high-velocity commercial or mid-market teams.
  • Experience selling into engineering, product, or technical leadership at growth-stage companies.
  • Fluency in English required.
  • Based in London.
  • Data-driven approach to team management using metrics for coaching and forecasting.

Nice to have

  • Additional European language skills (French, German, Italian, Spanish, or Arabic).
  • Familiarity with developer tooling, frontend infrastructure, or cloud platforms.
  • Knowledge of hirify.global, Next.js, or the modern web development ecosystem.
