Senior Software Engineer (Python/Fintech)

Location: Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

What you will do

• Build software enabling large-scale quantitative research and backtesting.
• Design and develop scalable, efficient, distributed systems and firm-wide tooling.
• Research, design, code, test, and deploy production platforms in collaboration with quantitative researchers.
• Address complex technical challenges involving performance, concurrency, and large-scale computation.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience writing production-quality Python code on Linux.
• Willingness to learn C++; prior C++ experience is a strong advantage.
• Strong interest in machine learning, deep learning, and backtesting platform design and development.
• Solid understanding of Linux system programming fundamentals.
• Experience designing and developing large-scale distributed systems, with strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, high-performance application design, and concurrency patterns.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal guidance, and proficient in English.

Nice to have

• Systems for managing and performing computation on large-scale graph data.
• Streaming or dataflow systems experience.
• Experience in financial services.
