AI/ML Solutions Architect, Lead (AI/ML): Designing and implementing effective AI solution architectures and strategies to address complex business problems with an accent on Generative AI, LLMs, and RAG. Focus on building and scaling AI-ready CI/CD pipelines, MLOps/AIOps, and deploying prototypes into highly regulated production environments.

Location: McLean, VA, USA. Must have Top Secret clearance. Remote work possible, but occasional in-person attendance at facilities may be required.

Salary: $112,800 – $257,000 per year

What you will do

• Design and implement AI solution architectures and strategies utilizing various AI technologies and methods.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain Generative AI and AI Agents employing LLMs and RAG.
• Build and scale AI-ready CI/CD pipelines leveraging IaaS for MLOps and AIOps.
• Manage the end-to-end deployment of AI prototypes into highly regulated production environments with high availability and security compliance.
• Translate complex AI concepts and development lifecycles into actionable business insights for senior leadership.
• Mentor and supervise employees in both company and technical competencies.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience with data science, machine learning (ML), or deep learning.
• 3+ years of experience with AI on AWS services and platforms.
• Top Secret clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s degree and AWS Certified Solutions Architect Certification.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Helm, and AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, SageMaker, Bedrock).
• Ability to operate with substantial latitude for decision-making on unusually complex problems.

• Experience with MLOps for production and ML workloads.
• Experience working with cybersecurity teams to achieve and maintain ATO.
• Experience framing technical R&D outputs into enterprise-grade offerings for governance and security compliance.
