What you will do
- Define multi-year roadmap for mobile access site infrastructure, power systems, and controls across macro, micro, small cell, and edge sites.
- Develop reference designs, BoMs, and ensure compliance with electrical codes, grounding, EMC, and safety regulations.
- Implement resilience designs (N+1 rectifiers, dual feeds, redundant controllers) and cybersecurity controls for OT assets.
- Run vendor selection (RFI/RFP), type approvals, NPI, and own engineering standards/MoPs for installation and maintenance.
- Oversee energy audits, load studies, battery modeling, and delivery of resiliency uplift programs improving efficiency and performance.
- Manage teams, CAPEX budgets, portfolio of projects, and governance frameworks for design and delivery.
Requirements
- Degree in Telecommunications, Electrical, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in Mobile RAN site solutions, DC/AC power systems, batteries, generators, hybrid power, site controllers, and secure remote management.
- Proven leadership in national-scale infrastructure modernization (1,000+ sites).
- Strong knowledge of 4G/5G radio technologies, OSS platforms, network orchestration.
- Commercial acumen for vendor agreements, contracts, SLA/KPI governance.
- Excellent program management, budget oversight, communication, decision-making, and stakeholder skills.
