What you will do

• Provide Tier 1 support for network services, security, servers, databases, and PC applications.
• Install and rack network and security appliances, manage data cabling, and monitor UPS/backup power.
• Assist in troubleshooting basic servers and Windows Operating systems under guidance from senior engineers.
• Manage infrastructure devices including PDUs, KVMs, security door locks, and security cameras.
• Maintain accurate IT inventory using Workday and ServiceNow.
• Collaborate with Tier 2 and Tier 3 engineers to identify and resolve routine and moderately complex technical problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science OR High School Diploma with 2 years of experience in networking and server platforms.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Wheeling, West Virginia.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Generalist knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and security.
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Windows 7 and Windows 10.

Nice to have

• CompTIA Network+, Security+, or Server+ certifications.
• Knowledge of ITIL and change management processes.
• Experience with healthcare information systems or EHR applications.
