What you will do
- Directly supervise and coach a team of PACS Analysts, managing payroll, performance reviews, and professional development.
- Coordinate the design, testing, implementation, and maintenance of new and legacy imaging systems.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for high-priority PACS incidents and resolve unplanned system outages.
- Align PACS system functionality with clinical workflows to identify inefficiencies and support high-quality patient care.
- Lead project planning and resource allocation for departmental IT initiatives and vendor coordination.
- Partner with clinical and IT stakeholders to pilot and scale AI imaging technologies within the enterprise environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare, computer science, business, or informatics with 3+ years of IT experience (or equivalent combination of Associate's/High School diploma and additional experience).
- Proven experience leading IT teams in operations, project management, and customer success.
- Technical proficiency in application support, HL7 Interfaces, or software development.
- Advanced skills in SQL, reporting workbench, and specialized analysis tools.
- Must be based in or able to work onsite at the Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia.
Nice to have
- Experience with EMR-EPIC, Cardiology, Lab, or Pharmacy applications.
- Technical knowledge of Unix/Linux, VMware, and block/file level storage.
- Familiarity with security controls such as SCCM, Carbon Black, or Nessus.
