Senior Supervisor - Technical Product Devt (Healthcare Software)

Location: Remote - Connecticut, United States. Initial on-site onboarding at a designated company location is required. Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without employment visa sponsorship.

Salary: $143,200–$196,900 annually, including base pay and variable incentive pay if eligible.

What you will do

• Provide direct technical supervision for software development and quality assurance teams building healthcare information systems products.
• Support the Technical Product Owner in delivering healthcare claims grouping content while architecting and developing a replacement technology stack.
• Set technical direction, prioritize the backlog, and collaborate with Tech Leads and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Mentor developers across software analysis, design, prototyping, coding, debugging, testing, documentation, support, and infrastructure maintenance.
• Champion Agile principles, manage conflict and change, and support professional growth and innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• At least five years of software development experience.
• At least three years of team leadership experience as a supervisor, manager, or team lead.
• Experience with Java software development, web services or web application development, and SOAP/REST.
• Experience with test case creation, test automation, CI/CD, SQL, and relational database design.
• Legal authorization to work in the country of employment without employment visa sponsorship is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Generative AI, MCP, and agentic workflows.
• Experience with JavaScript and Angular.
• Knowledge of Agile methodology and experience working with distributed teams.
• Strong logical, methodical, and time-efficient problem-solving skills.
