AVP, Fraud Strategy Data Analytics (Fintech): Identifying and preventing fraudulent activities within banking deposits by analyzing data trends and developing fraud prevention strategies with an accent on fraud risk appetite and KPI reporting. Focus on optimizing fraud engines, implementing machine learning models, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Location: Hybrid. Must be based near one of the company's Hubs in the US. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required; no sponsorship provided.
Salary: $115,000 - $200,000 Annual

What you will do
- Analyze transactional and customer data to detect unusual patterns and fraudulent activities.
- Develop, implement, and monitor fraud strategies to minimize risk across consumer bank products.
- Create detailed reports on fraud KPIs and KRIs for senior management.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to improve fraud engines and related controls.
- Ensure all activities adhere to legal, regulatory, and internal risk management standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in an analytics role (or 7+ years without a degree).
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, SAS, R, and Excel with at least 5 years of experience.
- Experience with Tableau or Power BI for trend analysis (5+ years).
- Background in fraud detection, preferably within banking or financial services.
- U.S. work authorization is mandatory.
Nice to have
- Experience using machine learning for fraud data analytics.
- Experience working with regulators or internal auditors.
- Background in project management within scaled agile teams.
- Experience presenting technical content to non-technical executives.
