What you will do

• Deliver advanced analytical insights by mining and analyzing internal/external data including KPIs, operational results, and benchmarks to support decisions.
• Translate analysis into business implications, articulating impacts on performance, trade-offs, risks, and opportunities.
• Contribute to complex initiatives like performance diagnostics, forecasting, capacity/volume analysis, and efficiency studies.
• Apply systems thinking to explain impacts of changes in volume, policy, or processes on service levels and costs.
• Influence leaders via storytelling in executive readouts and discussions with decision-oriented messaging.
• Operate independently, promote analytics practices, and mentor peers on data literacy and standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years in business analytics or consulting, delivering analysis for operational/strategic decisions.
• 3+ years supporting Insurance Operations or financial services.
• 3+ years advanced SQL for complex queries with joins, subqueries, aggregations across data sources.
• 3+ years with analytics/BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Python, R, Alteryx) for repeatable outputs.

Nice to have

• Experience translating analysis into insights for non-technical audiences via summaries or presentations.
• Managing concurrent deliverables in ambiguous spaces, framing approaches and validating with stakeholders.
• Forecasting, staffing, or scenario analyses; connecting operations to business outcomes.
• Strong communication for senior leaders; collaborative mindset with mentoring interest.
