What you will do

• Design hyper-scale systems handling millions of transactions per second using advanced sharding and event-driven architectures.
• Lead architectural decision-making through RFC processes to ensure long-term scalability and maintainability.
• Develop proofs of concept (PoCs) for new messaging systems, storage solutions, and AI-enabled architectures.
• Define system architecture for a cloud-native SaaS platform integrating APIs, relational/non-relational databases, and AI workflows.
• Mentor senior engineers to foster systems thinking and design excellence across teams.

Requirements

• 5-10+ years of experience in architectural design of large-scale, high-performance systems.
• Proven track record of scaling platforms from thousands to millions of transactions in high-growth environments.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, including eventual consistency, idempotency, and distributed tracing.
• Experience working in cloud-native environments with microservices architectures.
• Strong English communication skills for effective engagement with stakeholders and engineering teams.

Nice to have

• Experience designing consumption-based or usage-driven billing and rating systems.
• Practical experience integrating AI capabilities into production (e.g., RAG-based architectures, AI APIs).
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure performance optimization at scale.
