Test Data Engineering Manager (AI)

What you will do

• Lead and grow a team of data quality and test data engineers.
• Design reusable data quality frameworks and validation libraries for Databricks pipelines.
• Build synthetic data generation, masking, replay, and automated regression-testing solutions for batch and streaming pipelines.
• Establish monitoring, alerting, SLA/SLO, data quality, and pipeline reliability practices.
• Partner with Data Engineering, Product, Analytics, and global engineering teams to adopt quality standards.
• Define the enterprise data quality roadmap and eliminate manual validation through automation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Test Data Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years in technical leadership or management.
• Strong experience with Databricks, Spark, distributed data systems, Python, and SQL.
• Experience building automated validation or data quality frameworks and using observability tools such as Great Expectations, Deequ, or Soda.
• Knowledge of streaming architectures, anomaly detection, large-scale data validation, data profiling, and sampling.
• Excellent analytical, prioritization, collaboration, and execution skills, including working across time zones and occasional odd hours.

Nice to have

• AI orchestration experience and automation of synthetic data generation, data profiling, and pipeline regression testing.
• Experience with JIRA, agile user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience with user behavior data or launching test data and BI validation solutions.
• Passion for live music and events.
