What you will do

  • Process end-to-end payroll for US and Canadian employees according to company policies and statutory regulations.
  • Collect and verify payroll data, including attendance, overtime, bonuses, commissions, and deductions.
  • Maintain payroll records, employee compensation details, and ensure compliance with tax laws and labor requirements.
  • Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations, and financial summaries for management and auditors.
  • Handle payroll inquiries and coordinate employee changes like new hires and promotions with HR and Finance teams.
  • Manage statutory contributions, tax deductions, and benefits administration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems, labor laws, and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll reporting tools.
  • Must be based in the US or Toronto (Hybrid).
  • High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information professionally.
