TL;DR

Location: Must be based in Ontario, Canada (Remote from anywhere in Ontario or hybrid from Kitchener or London offices)

Salary: $75,000 – $100,000 CAD

What you will do

  • Own and execute end-to-end payroll operations for Canada and the United States, ensuring full compliance.
  • Manage complex payroll scenarios, including off-cycle runs, retroactive adjustments, and variable compensation.
  • Administer employee expenses and ensure adherence to company policies.
  • Ensure payroll tax compliance, including filings, remittances, reconciliations, and year-end reporting.
  • Manage payroll-related vendor relationships, including payroll providers and benefits partners.
  • Collaborate with Finance and People & Talent teams to support employee lifecycle changes and financial reporting.

Requirements

  • Significant experience managing end-to-end payroll operations across Canada and the United States.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, tax requirements, and compliance obligations in both countries.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) – U.S. designation.
  • Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) – Canadian designation.
  • Proven ability to operate independently and manage complex, high-risk processes.
  • Must be based in Ontario, Canada
