What you will do

• Prepare and review journal entries supporting monthly and quarterly close processes.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items with appropriate documentation.
• Support preparation of financial reporting packages and consolidation across multiple entities.
• Handle accounting for complex areas including loans, financial instruments, leases, and accruals.
• Prepare audit schedules and respond to external auditor requests during audit cycles.
• Partner with FP&A and operational teams to ensure accounting results reflect underlying business activity.

Requirements

• CPA designation or near completion.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience working with IFRS financial reporting.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
• Must be based in or able to work in Vancouver, BC on a hybrid basis.
• Public practice experience (Big 4 or mid-tier) is preferred.
