What you will do
- Manage PHY and functional validation in a post-silicon environment for leading-edge switch devices.
- Define, document, and execute comprehensive validation and test plans.
- Perform lab-based silicon bring-up and unit testing for PCIe Physical and PCS layer hardware and firmware.
- Conduct high-speed signal validation and analysis, measuring Eye diagrams, Jitter, and BER.
- Debug and analyze PHY protocols for storage interfaces, including PCIe, UALink, and Ethernet.
- Collaborate with Si design, SW engineering, and external vendors to resolve technical and customer issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in CS, Electrical Engineering or related (7+ years exp) or Master's/PhD (5+ years exp).
- 3+ years of managerial experience in Silicon Validation.
- Strong understanding of high-speed SERDES, equalization techniques, and PCIe, UALink, and Ethernet protocols.
- 5+ years of experience in High Speed IO testing, debugging, and validation.
- In-depth experience with lab equipment such as Scopes, BERT, and Network analyzers.
- Must be eligible to access export-controlled information as defined under U.S. law.
Nice to have
- Working knowledge of board design, including the ability to read schematics and layouts.
- Experience with SERDES modeling techniques.
- Working proficiency with Python.
- Extensive knowledge of physical and protocol levels (PIPE I/F, PCS, MAC).
