What you will do

• Lead complex projects, develop budgets and timelines, manage client expectations, and negotiate changes.
• Conceptualize system designs, determine requirements, and oversee Bill of Materials and documentation.
• Generate functional descriptions, wiring diagrams, rack elevations, and custom assemblies.
• Design cloud-based solutions for live broadcast production, channel playout, and content delivery.
• Provide technical guidance, mentor team members, test subsystems, and support deployment and as-built drawings.
• Maintain industry expertise through publications, trade shows, and seminars.

Requirements

• Reside or willing to relocate near New York City region for up to 25% onsite work
• High school diploma or GED; proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office 365
• AVIXA CTS certification required; certifications in DSP (Biamp, QSC, etc.) and control systems (Crestron, Extron, AMX, etc.)
• 8+ years in technical systems design; familiarity with audio DSPs, networked audio (2110-30, AES-67, Ravenna, Dante), TCP/IP, ACLs, QoS, VLANs, Wireless APs
• Understanding of construction project phases; proven track record in engineering projects
• Valid driver’s license; occasional travel up to 30%, mostly local within 2-hour drive
