Focus on designing architectures, troubleshooting integrations, enabling partners, and evangelizing OT cybersecurity thought leadership in the Japanese market.

Location: Japan (remote-first, entire country scope, first technical presence on the ground)

What you will do

• Lead pre-sales engagements including architecture design, deployment scoping, and technical win strategies.
• Design, deliver, and troubleshoot proof-of-concept deployments in customer OT environments.
• Provide technical guidance during post-sales for successful platform adoption and integration into security ecosystems.
• Own strategic technical relationships with partners like Macnica, Microsoft, and Omron; enable partner capabilities through workshops.
• Evangelize hirify.global mission and thought leadership via presentations, keynotes, and events in Japanese OT cybersecurity ecosystem.
• Influence global teams with market intelligence, customer feedback, and insights on Japan trends.

Requirements

• Fluency in Japanese and professional proficiency in English
• Extensive experience in OT/ICS cybersecurity in industrial environments (energy, manufacturing, critical infrastructure, utilities).
• Proven success in senior pre-sales/advisory roles with complex customer engagements.
• Deep knowledge of ICS/OT architectures, protocols, Purdue model, and adversary tradecraft.
• Hands-on skills in network analysis, Linux tooling, and troubleshooting complex deployments.
• Experience with strategic partners/distributors in the Japanese market; ability to operate independently.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills for practitioners, executives, and partners.
