What you will do

• Translate customer drawings and specifications into shop floor work instructions and inspection criteria.
• Lead quality planning for New Product Introduction (NPI), including control plans and FAI documentation.
• Manage problem solving and root cause analysis for production defects to improve yield and rework rates.
• Lead the transition from low-rate to high-volume manufacturing, optimizing processes and infrastructure.
• Onboard new automated production assets and collaborate with software engineering for system improvements.
• Conduct internal audits and drive corrective actions to maintain inspection-ready processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or STEM field with 4-6 years of production engineering experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or ITAR-eligible.
• Experience with machining operations and tight tolerances in aerospace manufacturing.
• Comprehensive knowledge of GD&T.
• Familiarity with NPI frameworks such as PPAP and FAI.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Engineering or STEM.
• Knowledge of AS9100 quality systems.
• Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency with SQL, VBA, Python, or ERP/MRP systems.
