Focus on leading complex negotiations with domestic and international government customers and ensuring compliance with FAR, DFARS, and ITAR.

Location: East Syracuse, NY. Must be a U.S. citizen.

Salary: $101,600 - $132,000

What you will do

• Negotiate complex terms and conditions with domestic, international, and government customers.
• Manage the full contract lifecycle from the capture phase through close-out.
• Ensure strict compliance with FAR, DFARS, and export control requirements (ITAR).
• Review proposals (RFPs/RFQs) to identify and mitigate contractual risks while maximizing financial results.
• Provide technical contractual guidance to internal stakeholders and business management.
• Lead efforts to evaluate and improve existing contractual processes and documentation.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Business or related field with 13+ years of experience, or MBA/JD with 11+ years of experience.
• Proven experience managing and negotiating commercial and defense contracts.
• Expertise in FAR, DFARS, and ITAR regulations.
• Strong ability to analyze risk regarding liability, intellectual property, and international law.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and be able to obtain a Security Clearance.
• Ability to travel up to 25% annually, both domestically and internationally.

Nice to have

• Professional certifications such as CCM, CFCM, or CPCM.
• Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity and information security terms and regulations.
• Experience working with Oracle ERP.
